“Connection is an energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship"

Make sense of your pain and the path forward
Â
Being in pain changes your life, it can change how you relate to yourself and to the world. Understanding and support can make all the difference when navigating these changes and getting on the recovery path. Together we can achieve things that we couldn’t on our own.
This is a social support and self-learning program for people with pain, that can be tailored to your changing needs over time.
REFLECTIVE MODULES
A series of self-directed modules provide a platform for you to reflect on your experiences, gain understanding of internal and external influences, and identify opportunities for change and self-care.
GROUP GATHERINGS
In a structured and supportive setting we explore key features of recovery, themes accessed through a scientific process from people living well with pain. We reflect on the features, we share our struggles and insights.
PROGRAM NAVIGATION
We connect you with a trained peer, someone who gets it, to support you in navigating your way out of the dark and finding your own recovery path. We focus on helping you identify the next best step.
This is a new kind of care for those of us with pain.
Â
When we talk about pain here at Our Recovery, we are referring to all sorts of pain; chronic pain, persistent pain, ongoing pain, episodic pain, recurring pain… any pain that impacts your life.
We are in the process of building and testing this program with the community, in collaboration with our research partners.
We look forward to sharing what we are co-creating.
